21 Σεπ 2007 · I'm interested to hear from anyone who has used the Rotax 914 Turbo engine. Thoughts on power, fuel burn and maintenance would be good to hear. Considering this engine for a future aircraft.
The turbo charged 115 HP Rotax 914 series offers more performance at high altitudes while keeping weight at a low level. This series offers a time between overhauls of 2,000 hrs. Price does not include shipping.
5 Δεκ 2017 · The last time I looked Rotax listed the same time to overhaul on the 914 and 912. The 914 is a smaller displacement engine than the 912 with a reasonable combustion chamber and they go to a lot of trouble to keep the boost down.
