1 Σεπ 2022 · Rotella T4: The Rotella T4 is available in the viscosity grade 15W-40 which means it has a viscosity of 15 at low temperatures and a viscosity of 40 at normal or high temperatures. Rotella T5: It comes in two multi-grade viscosities 15W-40 and 10W-30.
27 Απρ 2022 · When choosing between T5 and T6, consider your driving conditions and vehicle requirements: If you’re doing regular driving or short trips, T5 might be perfectly adequate. For heavy hauling, frequent towing, or high-performance needs, T6 could be the smarter choice.
6 Νοε 2023 · Rotella T4, with its conventional oil base, is tried-and-true, while Rotella T6, a full synthetic oil, takes engine performance to the next level. Notably, T6’s lower viscosity options are perfect for modern engines, reducing friction and enhancing fuel efficiency.
21 Οκτ 2021 · The only issues I have being an OTR driver is there seems to be a huge price difference in getting the T5 and T6 oil changes compared to T4. It seems to average about $175-$225 more for the higher grade synthetics compared to T4.
I've seen normal Rotella turn into gummy crud, not sure about the synthetic stuff, but that was enough to change my mind about using it, or Shell diesel oils. Conventional, hybrid synthetic, and fully synthetic. Some would argue for T6 (fully synthetic) and others, like me, would say it doesn’t matter at all.
9 Σεπ 2023 · Rotella T5 and T6 are both excellent synthetic motor oils, but they have different viscosity. Rotella T5 is a 5W-40 viscosity oil and is better for engines that don’t require the extra protection of a higher viscosity oil.
12 Μαΐ 2017 · t6 looks like a synthetic, and t4 looks normal.. depends on what you want. what I've learned, much more depends on your driving distance, style, and temperature/weather. if your driving short distances and never getting it up to full temp for a good period of time, use cheaper dino oil... you'll have to change it more frequently because it doesn...
