I've seen normal Rotella turn into gummy crud, not sure about the synthetic stuff, but that was enough to change my mind about using it, or Shell diesel oils. Conventional, hybrid synthetic, and fully synthetic. Some would argue for T6 (fully synthetic) and others, like me, would say it doesn’t matter at all.

12 Μαΐ 2017 · There was a big debate on a thread about how much oil it takes for a change. Some swore you should only add 2.5 gallons. Some guy advised letting it drain 4 or 5 hours or overnight. Change it hot and get it all out in 5 minutes. I am constantly amazed at how much BS gets passed around as fact.
