9 Μαρ 2023 · All three Rotella oils - T4, T5, and T6 - are CK-4 and CJ-4 compliant. There are long lists of engine manufacturer approvals for all three (though not Perkins which is understandable). Further, I looked at the data sheet for each and summarized several of the metrics.
22 Αυγ 2022 · T4, T5, T6... it really doesn't matter but some make you "feel" better so... There are other full synthetics you can use too if you can't find T6. I del Chevron offerings pretty regularly where T6 is always gone.

If you are in a 20 degree or lower weather for the majority find a good 5w-40 full synthetic. many feel and notice the benefits such as easy starting, quicker warm ups, small but still fuel economy improvements.
12 Μαΐ 2017 · I exclusively use the Rotella synthetic in my truck, with a 10-mile commute. Annual oil changes every year, which works out to 10-11K miles. Blackstone oil analysis reports come back with good numbers every time, and recommend running it longer.
