Word Roundup is an innovative variation on a classic format, combining the challenge of a crossword with the quick-solve satisfaction of a word search. Unlike most word searches, in which the player knows what words to look for, Word Roundup gives crossword-style clues for the hidden words.
Word Roundup is a bit of a puzzle medley: It’s a word search puzzle, but instead of a conventional word list, you're given crossword-style clues, which are the answers you’ll find in the grid in all directions—vertically, horizontally, diagonally, and backward.
Word Roundup is a fresh take on a classic format that combines the thrill of a word search with the mental challenge of a crossword puzzle. In contrast to traditional word searches, where the player is aware of the words to look for, Word Roundup provides crossword-style clues for the hidden words.
How to play. Find the words in today’s puzzle by following the clues on the left side of the screen. Web Instructions. To select a word in the puzzle, click its first letter, drag your mouse to the last letter and release. If the word you selected is a correct answer, the word will remain highlighted and a check mark will appear on the clue.
