The Malaysian Armed Forces (Abbr.: MAF; Malay: Angkatan Tentera Malaysia; Jawi: اڠكتن تنترا مليسيا), are the armed forces of Malaysia, consists of three branches; the Malaysian Army, Royal Malaysian Navy and the Royal Malaysian Air Force.
The Malaysian Army (Malay: Tentera Darat Malaysia; Jawi: تنترا دارت مليسيا ) is the land component of the Malaysian Armed Forces. Steeped in British Army traditions, the Malaysian Army does not carry the title ‘royal’ ( diraja ) as do the Royal Malaysian Navy and the Royal Malaysian Air Force .
MAFHS has been active in providing healthcare support operation during disaster/conflict in and outside Malaysia since 1992. Operational Medicine is the healthcare provided in unconventional settings where important resources may be significantly restricted. These resources include limited supplies, expertise, time, location, or climate extremes.
