To install the PlayStation 3 system software, simply use RPCS3's built in firmware installer found under File > Install Firmware. To update the PlayStation 3 system software or install a custom firmware, simply repeat these steps to overwrite any existing firmware files.

7 Ιαν 2018 · This works now that I put the required dlls into the RPCS3 directory. Did the system for downloading compatibility change recently? I did not have those foles before and it worked. (I'm just curious, or maybe I previously had those files and somehow uninstalled?).

17 Ιουν 2023 · Make sure you're using the latest RPCS3 build. We don't provide support for older builds. Make sure you're using the latest build available, as we always pour new improvements into them. Check if your drivers are up-to-date. Many issues are simply solved by updating your drivers, mainly GPU.
