The proper solution is getting a better anti-virus, the workaround is adding RPCS3 directory to your anti-virus' whitelist.

Followed the quick start guide, but hit a roadblock trying to download the firmware from the PlayStation website. I try to click it and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?
25 Ιουλ 2022 · A few weeks ago it was working fine, but after the update the rpcs3 emulator closes when I open a game or install the firmware. I tried with an old version of rpcs3 and both the installation of firmware 4.89 and the games work. something is wrong with the current version (0.0.23) :/
Why update manually if there is auto-update? If you need to roll back the version - then yes, copy all the files from the screenshot.
2 Φεβ 2024 · When I try reopening RPCS3 it opens normally as if it hadn't updated and prompts me to update again. I can still use the emulator and play my games with seemingly no issue, but I'm unable to update. Is there any way to fix this issue without reinstalling the whole thing?
