17 Φεβ 2021 · A week ago it asked if I wanted to update, and after clicking to update, i get this message: E UPDATER: Failed to rename E UPDATER: 7z decoder error: 11 I left out the middle part stating my file path to RPCS3. Basically it said it couldn't rename the file adding "old" to the one being replaced.
13 Ιαν 2021 · On linux the updater is trying to update to latest appimage. If you are using flatpak then you must use other means to update your rpcs3, or switch over to appimage versions.

I have tried multiple times now with both firmware 4.90 and 4.89 to install, however I am continually running into a fatal error that gives me some type of error code saying "RPCS3 has abnormally terminated. Thread id = 22 (or 23 or 27)"
9 Απρ 2021 · If when installing PS3 Firmware on RPCS3 you get an "failed to write file" error and that file is a .txt file, then you have a defective anti-virus. Some bad anti-virus software, like Avast, decided that, for some reason, programs that write .txt files to your computer should be treated as Ransomware and blocked from working.
