17 Φεβ 2021 · A week ago it asked if I wanted to update, and after clicking to update, i get this message: E UPDATER: Failed to rename E UPDATER: 7z decoder error: 11 I left out the middle part stating my file path to RPCS3. Basically it said it couldn't rename the file adding "old" to the one being replaced.
well, the Help --> check for updates option is disabled in my emulator...I don't know why... Now I have overwritten every file and the option is enabled. If I check on CHECK FOR UPDATES it appears this error message:
2 Φεβ 2024 · When I try reopening RPCS3 it opens normally as if it hadn't updated and prompts me to update again. I can still use the emulator and play my games with seemingly no issue, but I'm unable to update. Is there any way to fix this issue without reinstalling the whole thing?
There is no fix. You can't update something you don't have. The "fix" is getting the game before you try to update it, but that much is obvious.

I tried to activate the auto updater . I copied all of the dll files to rpcs3 . Now when I tap on check for updates it shows me there’s an update available and when I update it it shows me an error massage : “ failed to create temporary file” .
