Mo‘ Creatures Extended stands for continued maintenance of the mod exclusively for Minecraft 1.12.2 and is officially endorsed by DrZhark. It‘s completely dependency-free, a lot of the codebase is cleaned up and most apparent bugs are fixed.

If you are playing Minecraft 1.12.2, Mo' Creatures Extended is the endorsed continuation of the mod, maintained by a new team. Featuring fixes, new content, third party mod integration, and removal of dependencies.
Before I install anything tho I need to know - has Mo' Creatures finally been updated to any newer versions of Minecraft? Or is the project just completely dead? It's one of my all time favorite mods if not THE most favorite.

The Mo' Creatures mod adds a variety of over 50 new mobs to Minecraft. The mod focuses on allowing the player to interact with and tame new creatures. Each mob in Mo' Creatures is either passive, neutral or hostile, and some have advanced AI, which of course depends on the player's presence.
