Former newscast of RPN 9 from 1970 to 2012 is titled "NewsWatch". Current affairs programs of digital news organization #NewsWatchPlus are coming to free TV soon via ALIW 23. In a teaser posted today, Aug. 5, NewsWatch Plus programs will be airing on the channel’s primetime block.

NewsWatch Plus (stylized as NewsWatch+ or NW+) is a Philippine digital news media service. It is owned by Broadreach Media, a media investment firm (and the parent company of Nine Media Corporation) which took over the operations and assets of the now-defunct CNN Philippines.It began its operations on July 1, 2024 on soft launch, and was fully launched in August 2024.
The digital news channel currently produces daily news bulletins (NewsWatch Live) and a 15-minute primetime newscast (NewsWatch Now) through YouTube and X accounts formerly used by CNN Philippines.
