6 Ιουν 2022 · So here are some ways to give back and pay it forward during the June holidays: Time is all you need. Once a month, volunteers from local non-profit Hao Ren Hao Shi gather to pack and deliver foodstuff and daily necessities for low-income families, vulnerable seniors and migrant workers.
7 Νοε 2023 · The KidsFun School Holiday Series is a bi-annual volunteering programme conducted by Youth Corps Singapore. It takes place during the school holidays, in June and between November and December. It aims to teach Primary 1 to 3 children from low-income families about meaningful topics.
What volunteering opportunities are available? You can volunteer in our community service programmes under three main services – Befriending, Guiding and Training. Befriending – Benefit the mentally disadvantaged, at-risk children from low income families, and socially isolated seniors.
The Mentoring Programme is one of RSVP’s longest running programmes. Our senior volunteers serve as mentors to at-risk primary school children. A 3-hour after-school programme held at the school premises, mentors engage students through activities such as story-telling, arts and craft, and role-playing to impart moral values such as ...
