If you're using Blazor already, then Blazor hybrid with MAUI is basically a better electron for mobile deployment imo. It has native blazor integration and only the UI part runs in the webview, everything else is running natively which is less of a hassle than making js wrappers to call electron APIs for native functionality.
I didn't had a great experience back then; quite a lot of bugs and numerous work-arounds were needed. I'm now have to choose between Flutter and .NET MAUI, only for building iOS/Android apps (no desktop or web). Flutter is very popular and .NET MAUI gets a lot of hate.
It works better from your position: a person with a native background has a better innate sense of what layouts work on the platform and that leads to better intuition about which Xamarin/MAUI layouts will lead to it.
If you start learning MAUI now, it would only discourage you because you would spend the most of the time by searching Github Issues instead of the actual learning. If you are already a .NET developer, I would maybe consider learning Xamarin.Forms instead. Yes, it is legacy now.

5 Μαΐ 2023 · They already know basic concepts like creating UIs or controls, how data-binding works, working with MVVM, and useful libraries. The Fluent design looks nicer than Material design or Apple design. Of course, you can implement any design system on any platform, but the .NET MAUI look and feel wins out of the box for me.
