In the example below (the math scoring rubric), the understanding of concepts and the correct answers categories are going to weigh more heavily. For purposes of our example, let’s assign criterion two and three 40% of the project.
A rubric is a scoring tool that identifies the different criteria relevant to an assignment, assessment, or learning outcome and states the possible levels of achievement in a specific, clear, and objective way.
