Key Dates. JANUARY 1, 2021: Employer began withholding employee contributions (one-half of one percent of each paycheck (0.5%) and remitting these contributions to the CT Paid Leave (CTPL) Authority trust fund. JANUARY 1, 2022: Covered employees can apply for, and may receive, paid leave benefits.
