24 Νοε 2002 · The 10/22 uses the BX-1 magazine, while the 77/22 and 96/22 use the JX-1 magazine. They are almost identical, but not quite, although they do cost the same (according to Ruger, at least.) I get my 10/22 BX-1 magazines at WalMart for $9 each, so the JX-1 should be comparable.

The .22 magnum round does still offer the shooter a choice, especially with some new Hornady 30-grain V-Max loads just coming into production. Priced at £400, with good reliability, who can complain?

26 Ιαν 2017 · Ruger decided to get into this lucrative market with a lever-gun of their own. However, typical of them, they decided to do it their way and came up with the Model 96. Looking like a 10/22 major differences were the more curved rear of the receiver, internal hammer and the obvious lever system.
