17 Ιουλ 2016 · I searched all kinds of forums and found very little positive about the Ruger 22 Hornet and most people who owned the Ruger said they wished they'd have bought the CZ. The CZ pros FAR outweigh the cons.
4 Ιαν 2020 · 1. Easier to machine 2 high precision rounds than to machine 2 standard precision rounds, then thread and deburr them both. 2. My guess is that accuracy problems would be the result of "generous" chambers as much as any action-to-stock issues, and neither have anything to do with threaded or slip fit barrels.
8 Σεπ 2009 · I owned a Ruger M-77/.22 Hornet a few years back and couldn't receive any degree of acuracy. Both Factory and handloaded ammo where just "so-so" in the accuracy department which was on average 2" to 3.5" @ 100 yards.
10 Δεκ 2019 · Bought a Ruger 17h six months ago, same story, poor accuracy. Had it re barreled, trigger job, shimmed the bolt glass bedded, and floated the barrel. It’s reasonably accurate now, after a whole lot of expense. I had a Browning A bolt 22h, and it was far more accurate than the Rugers.
24 Αυγ 2023 · All of the hornet problems can be cured by switching to a modern case design like the 221 fireball. The only thing the 221 won’t do better than the hornet is become a legendary deer and bear slayer!
