The Ruger Pistol Caliber Carbine includes a feature which permits the user to change the Magazine Well so that it may accept a different make of pistol magazine. These inserts are currently available for the Ruger American, SR9, and Glock magazines.
With that said, Ruger also has an available magazine well change kit so that this takes Glock magazines. Basically, it’s worth considering which magazines you want to use and dial the carbine in accordingly. If you already have a Security Nine, go with these magazines.

28 Απρ 2022 · I successfully modified 5 M&P mags to fit the PC9 Ruger mag well. I used the included Ruger magazine as a guide to position the top of the slot accurately as it’s the only surface that matters. In fact my slots were not as uniform as my obsessiveness would have liked but they all worked great.
