8 Σεπ 2018 · Bottom line, for $250, this barrel is a major upgrade over stock (at least for me) and for the cost, puts me well within precision needed for long range practice on the cheap. I put rounds down range at 215yds on a 3" target, hitting 8 of 10 at that range.

11 Μαΐ 2023 · I have a ER Shaw 18" stainless match barrel for a Ruger Precision Rimfire. This barrel has a true match chamber. Which pushes the bullet into the lands while chambering. Great for accuracy, not so great for unloading live rounds.
20 Φεβ 2021 · I'm considering a barrel upgrade for my Ruger Precision Rimfire. Searching here I see recommendations for Shaw barrels in 18 or 20 or Green Mountain in 16, 18 or 22.
10 Ιαν 2023 · I have seen folks on the Rimfire boards state that ER Shaw is an upgrade for the Ruger Predators, so if I were building or rebarreling I would have no problem trusting a Shaw barrel. That said I think 1/8 will be better for 240gr, while you probably want 1/10 for 208/215.
5 Αυγ 2013 · I put on a ER Shaw factory contour barrel (Barrel, .22 LR, 18", Blued, Factory Contour, E.R. Shaw, New Gun Parts | 1289690 | Numrich Gun Parts) in hopes of a bit more accuracy out of my gun (10/22 carbine) and found that I was getting some strange grouping.
Barrel was cleaned thoroughly prior to test and 50 rounds fired to settle in barrel before shooting groups and torque tuning. Results below, picture at bottom. Shot from right to left (10inlb to 50inlb).
