27 Δεκ 2017 · When I built my .300 Blackout, I put on the Bushnell 1x-4x scope that I'd bought for my AR556. I do find it lacking a biT when shooting at 100 yards. So, my next purchase will be a 3x-9x to put on it.

This may be a weird one, but consider a 2 or 3x prism scope. Works with dot on or off because it’s an etched reticle, the primary arms ones are very clear. I’m putting one on my 300 blk AR, and it’s a perfect optic for shots to 100 yards.
What are some good optics recommendations for the ruger ranch in 300 blackout? I handload and started casting so my primary focus at the moment is plinking subsonic loads. As such, I expect a 1-6x would be on the top end.
