1 Μαΐ 2008 · So took a nice older NM Single Six to the range this morning. Gun was was thoroughly cleaned before hand. First experience with a NM Single Six, 22LR and 22 Mag. Tested a few different brands of ammo. All groups shot at only 10yds., avg. for 6 shot groups. First .22LR:

21 Δεκ 2016 · Based on what I have learned, Federal Auto Match and Aguila Super Extra 40g plated ammunition are the most accurate ammunition for my particular Ruger Single Six. I will test .22 WMR ammunition on my next trip to the range.

The gun is loaded and unloaded with the same technique as many single action revolvers: open the loading gate, rotate the cylinder slightly to drop in the first round, rotate to the next chamber and repeat.
