2 Ιουν 2024 · I have a 2003 dutchstar with a low voltage issue at the 7 way plug. 8.9 volts spent 3 days trying to figure it out. Got fed up and run a separate power wire from battery. Now have 14.3 volts at plug. Hopefully my toad will no longer have dead battery issues.
3 Μαρ 2014 · The MH has a four flat plug that I will use for auxiliary lights on the Toad. The MH does not have preinstalled wiring for a 7 pin plug, so I will be running a 10 gauge charge line with two 20 amp auto resetting circuit breakers for a charge line.

Readings as I expected them to be with either end open but I'm not.

I would like to run a charge line from my Class C Winnie to my 2013 CR-V toad. It sounds simple, but the more I read the more I am getting confused.
22 Ιουν 2019 · There is a 12V power line in the 7-point connector for the RV to the toad. You can run a line from that to the car's battery, you just need a fuse and a diode to prevent reverse flow. Ours also has an on/off switch to turn it off when not in use.
2 Οκτ 2021 · In this video we install a charge line kit to charge the towed vehicle using the RV as our power source. We also install a diode kit to resolve an issue with the charge line backfeeding to the rest of the electrical system.
12 Μαΐ 2013 · Punta Gorda, FL. I ran a charge line from the coach to the toad using a device called Toad Charge . I did have to modify the 7 pin to 6 pin cable in that the charge line did not appear on the 6 pin end. I took off the backup lights and changed to the 12 volt charge line. Now whenever the ignition is on in the coach, the toad battery is charging.
