This catch can is large and not for the average street build, 4" wide x 7.5" high with triple baffleing and good to 1200 HP turbo or front mount SC. This is the ONLY one that provides proper crankcase evacuation and oil separation during both boost & non-boost applications.

20 Απρ 2012 · The picture below illustrates why you need a catch can. The oil you see doesn't belong there. Once that oil makes it's way to the sensitive wires of your MAF sensor you will experience a loss in throttle performance.

19 Μαρ 2014 · A "catch can" is an aftermarket device that will condense and collect the oil vapor before it has a chance to reach the intake system. As the gases and oil vapor enter the can they typically pass through a screening mechanism that gives the oil vapor something to adhere to.
4 Οκτ 2022 · If you have to worry about the volume of oil blow by being more than what the catch can will hold, then the engine likely has other issues. I recommend dumping the catch can at each oil change. Those in cooler climates may want to check smaller cans more frequently due to condensation.
