5 Απρ 2024 · The warranty period for RYOBI tools purchased at Home Depot typically ranges from 3 to 5 years, depending on the specific tool and its components. Home Depot is known to offer a generous warranty on RYOBI products, ensuring customers have peace of mind in their purchase.
The warranty is through Ryobi, not Home Depot. If your store has a rental center, they can do warranty repairs onsite for tools only, not batteries and chargers. We can't exchange them. Call Ryobi and they'll send new ones directly to in in 2-3 days. They are much faster than we are for replacements.
All RYOBI tool warranty work must be performed by an Authorized Service Center. To validate your coverage, you must present a proof of purchase, the product and any defective parts that fall within the warranty period. In addition, you may be required to make a refundable deposit.
If you don't have the receipt, the warranty for new (not Recon/refurbs) is good for the covered term (3 years on ONE+ tools and batteries after 2011, 5 years on the 40v OPE tools) based on the date code printed on the item.
WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS: This warranty covers all defects in workmanship or materials in your RYOBI® power tool for a period of three years from the date of purchase. With the exception of batteries, power tool accessories are warranted for ninety (90) days. Batteries are warranted for three years.
