Ryuk (リューク, Ryūku) is a Shinigami who, after becoming bored with the Shinigami Realm, steals a second Death Note and drops it into the Human World. This Death Note is discovered by Light Yagami who uses it in an attempt to cleanse the world of evil and injustice.
In the Shinigami Realm, Ryuk tells his fellow shinigami that he dropped his Death Note, and the way to get it back is to go to the human world. Light arrives home from school with perfect grades, much to his mother's excitement.

13 Οκτ 2018 · The first episode begins in the Realm of the Shinigami, where we see a glimpse of their barren wasteland, with Ryuk watching over the other shinigami who roam below him. A few shinigami (Gook and Deridovely) are gambling with a large basin with bones and skulls inside. The skulls intersingly enough look similar to skulls of cattle and goats.
