This will be my first swap and I plan to lean heavily on local (paid) assistance. Firstly, the intent is to use a crate engine & trans; likely LS3 & 4L75E. A few reasons, but primarily, this needs to be a reliable daily driver/trip vehicle.

15 Δεκ 2022 · None of the LS swap parts really account for the pre 1988 S10s. Exhaust clearance to the frame and steering shaft is lousy. Linkage for the column shift doesn’t exist.
14 Ιουλ 2022 · Ross is using Holley’s special swap kit on this Chevy S-10 Xtreme, which undoubtedly makes the job a lot easier. It also helps t0 pick up some other select parts including the heater box, and he’s able to run factory coil packs on this particular application as well.
