Safe Mode is a diagnostic mode that enables you to use Windows with basic drivers. If you encounter problems in Windows, restarting in Safe Mode allows you to continue working and to troubleshoot the problem. The Safe Mode feature does not install any software.
19 Ιαν 2018 · I started my PC this morning, the windows started loading and after a few seconds the monitor went to power save mode, no error messages or anything else. I restarted the monitor and nothing changed and then I shut down/restarted the PC twice and the same thing happened.

21 Φεβ 2016 · 1. With the external monitor connected, boot into safe mode, then disable the internal monitor in device manager. Reboot (with the external monitor still connected). If ths does not work, disable also the display adapter and reboot. Now you should now have a display on the external monitor. See same post here.
