17 Απρ 2017 · Things like Compatibility Mode no longer work. I've tested these fixes extensively on Windows 10 (single player) and overhauled the guide for 2024. Thanks to software like Steamless, NTCore 4GB Patch, DXVK and IdolNinja's GotR Mod, Saints Row 2 runs the best it's ever run on PC.
EDIT: 11/10/2022 DXVK 2.0 has now released which solves the major crashing issue that required the SR2_QINLILI_PATCH. The key was finally getting DXVK to work without crashing, which required this patch (SR2_QINLILI_PATCH) (https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/issues/2417#issuecomment-1145601491).
i added the x32 d3d9.dll and dxgi into the saints row 2 folder. started the game and it crashes on load and sometimes i can get into the main menu but as soon as i start a new game it crashes. heres a log file. SR2_pc_d3d9.log. Windows 10 Version 21H1. OS Build 19043.1415. NVIDIA Driver version 497.09.
