He helped me setup the 3/4 clutch pack I have now, that just burnt up after 1 year (Pro Street Elite). Sometimes it's hard to reach him. I'll be shopping for a clutch pack this week for the Sonnax drum.

18 Φεβ 2012 · Deleting that accunulator by using a billet servo greatly increases 3-4 clutch life. The billet servo also has a substantially larger apply area for 2nd gear, which gets the 2-4 band on quicker and gives it more holding power.
2 Μαρ 2016 · In 4L60-E, 4L65-E and 4L70-E units, it’s crucial to prevent even minor leaks in the 3rd accumulator checkball assembly. Leakage at the hidden #7 checkball (Figure 1) reduces 3‐4 clutch apply pressure, a direct cause of burnt 3‐4 clutches.
27 Νοε 2011 · In most situations the 5 extra spring sets in the 3-4 clutch pack are junk when removed from a 4l60e that has burned the clutch pack up. If setup properly a new set of these springs work well in daily driver applications.
8 Οκτ 2020 · It is an OEM drum machined and fitted with a thread-on cap for the 3/4's and it uses TH350 dimension clutches which will significantly increase overall clutch surface area while also increasing steel mass. The reinforcement ring for the stock drum has proven to me to be more hassle than it's worth.
