11 Φεβ 2011 · The K140 was introduced in 1974, and is the ancestor of all K240, K270, K141 models etc, and the first AKG headphone with the DKK 32 driver that's still being used in developed form. So the K140 is worth keeping only for that, but it's also great fun listening to.
12 Οκτ 2010 · I have a set of K140 which I have owned and enjoyed as secondary speakers for several years. From the KEF site it appears that yours are the same with a passive radiator added at the bottom, rather than my sealed units.

28 Δεκ 2009 · I have the non-vented K140 and considering their age, they sound pretty damn good on certain records. They are a bit power hungry so the Little Dot I+ can't handle them at all, but my Audio-gd C2C delivers all the power they need. Highs are a bit recessed compared to my Grado HF-2 (of course they have about 35 years in between them).
