If things are questionable at all, run the software first in a VM or sandbox, that way if there is anything malicious about it, it is contained and you can simply delete the VM/sandbox without any damage having been done.
Thank you guys, so many useful websites! You are the best! Safer to just decode the installer/setup file and remove the lines for trial or for cracked software, find viruses/trojan/malware and recompile a new setup. Before downloading any software you need to try VirusTotal for security clearance.
11 Φεβ 2011 · I returned to the K140 after having concentrated my listening on the K400 for a few days - a splendid open headphone - and the comparison was not very flattering to the K140. It sounded congested and with definition lacking on large-scale orchestral recordings.
I've been able to keep the Saitek software working with Win 10 by installing everything (Saitek's driver, then the SST program) and then going into Win10's Device Manager and telling windows to use the generic "USB Device" driver instead of Saitek's driver for the X-65F.
