Sakers breed from eastern Europe eastwards across Asia to Manchuria. The Saker is the national bird of Hungary and, in 2012, was selected as the national bird of Mongolia. We received Sladkiy, a male Aplomado falcon, as a product from a breeding project through the Peregrine Fund in 2020.

Valhalla Falcons is located in northwest USA near Spokane in eastern Washington. We have been breeding falcons for over 30 years and training and hunting with falcons and hawks for 52 years.
We offer the following captive bred falcons: Gyrfalcons (Falco rusticolus) and Peregrine Falcons—Peale’s (Falco peregrinus pealei), Anatum (Falco peregrinus anatum), and a 4-way hybrid Peregrine, Figian, macropus, Peales’ and Anatum subspecies. You can also choose the way your falcon is raised.

Large, powerful falcon. Inhabits a range of expansive habitats, from grasslands and mountainsides to open woodlands. Somewhat variable, but always dark "trousers" when perched; the tail extends beyond the wingtips at rest, giving it a “short-winged” appearance.
Saker Falcon (Falco cherrug) Description : Saker Falcons are also known as Altai Falcons. They have white to brown streaked crowns with a dark typical “mustache,” broad white eye-line, white throats, and whitish underparts with heavy dark streaking.
