Today I learned Sam Kinison died from being hit by a drunk driver and not from his heart exploding from cocaine like I assumed.
7 Μαΐ 2021 · Nobody saw comedy genius Sam Kinison’s death coming - at least not the way it happened. Most people assumed he’d succumb to substance abuse, but Kinison said he had that under control....
Kinison's last words were reportedly stated to no one in particular at the crash scene as "why now?", then after a pause he asked "but why?", and after another pause, said "okay, okay, okay". A friend who was with him at the time later recalled, "Whatever voice was talking to him gave him the right answer and he just relaxed with it".
