19 Σεπ 2022 · 5 Analytic Rubric Examples for High School. 1. Book Report Rubric. Book reports are a great way to assess student reading comprehension and writing ability. Depending on the style of your assessment you can even get creative and look for graphic presentations.
Analytic Rubric Samples. Writing – This rubric could be used to assess a third grade student’s personal narrative or fiction story. Reading – This rubric could be used to assess an upper elementary or middle school student’s book trailer video.
Use rubrics to assess project-based student work including essays, group projects, creative endeavors, and oral presentations. Rubrics can help instructors communicate expectations to students and assess student work fairly, consistently and efficiently.

1 Μαΐ 2014 · What we’re going to do here is describe two frequently used kinds of rubrics, holistic and analytic, plus a less common one called the single-point rubric (my favorite, for the record). For each one, we’ll look at an example and explore its pros and cons.
Analytic scoring rubrics. Analytic rubrics attempt to break down the final product or goal into measurable components and parts. In other words, your student has a project or assignment and you use an analytic scoring rubric to evaluate all the pieces of the project. Analytic rubrics typically use numbers to measure quality.
