22 Νοε 2023 · Our Storefront Youth Emergency Shelter is the only emergency shelter for youth, ages 12 to 17, in San Diego. We have 10 beds available and we are open 7 days per week. The YES helps youth who do not have a safe place to live or are victims of physical or sexual abuse, neglect or exploitation.
The Emergency Screening Unit (ESU) is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide psychiatric crisis stabilization for children and adolescents under age 18 who are experiencing a mental health emergency. Services are contracted through New Alternatives Inc. and are for Medi-Cal beneficiaries. Services include:
