San Gorgonio 17 Peaks. Head out on this 28.8-mile point-to-point trail near Banning, California. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 18 h 42 min to complete. This is a popular trail for backpacking, birding, and camping, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

The upper end of this trail offers outstanding views of Yucaipa Ridge and Galena Peak, as well as sweeping panoramic views from the top of Mt. San Gorgonio. After the South Fork Trail, this is the second most used trail in the Wilderness.

16 Οκτ 2015 · The last and final section traverses near the ridge of the mountain with very little shade and full exposure to the sun. The section climbs steadily and not too steeply to the summit and can get very cold and windy during the Fall and Winter months.
Route to Dobbs Peak is off trail and is not maintained by San Gorgonio Wilderness trail system. This route begins on the Vivian Creek trail, where you will pass a couple of backcountry campsite options at Halfway and High Creek Camp.
