24 Ιουν 2023 · The official size of a sand volleyball court is 16 meters (52.5 feet) long and 8 meters (26.2 feet) wide. The net is 2.43 meters (7.97 feet) tall for men’s competition and 2.24 meters (7.35 feet) tall for women’s competition.
The minimum recommended depth is 50 cm. The sand boundary should be a minimum of 15 meters by 24 meters, so you will have a 3 meter sand perimeter around the actual court. For professional competition, there needs to be 4 m on the sides / 5 m behind the endlines.
The Site: The dimensions of a volleyball court are 29′-6″ wide by 59′-0″ long, measured from the outside edges of the boundary lines. In addition, you should have 10′ (more is even better) clear around the boundaries. The result is a complete playing area of 49′-6″ wide by 79′-0″ long.
2.1 The net is 8.5 m (27’10 1/2”) long and 1 m (39”) +/- 3 cm (+-11/8”) wide when it is hung taut, placed vertically over the axis of the center of the court. It is made of 10 cm (4”) square mesh.
