27 Φεβ 2014 · On July 20th 1969, this massive machine blasted out to the blue sky and entering mankind to a whole new level. This rocket Saturn V SA-506 was used to propelled 3 brave men to the space and finally stepped their feet on moon's soil accomplished their Apollo mission, the 11th mission.
Continuing with our beginners series, here are the Saturn 1B and the Soviet Soyuz rocket from the middle part of the space race in the 1960's. Thanks to Roman for making these available. Model here
I've built a half dozen different models this way, but this instructable will focus on the the Saturn V (pronounced Saturn Five) launch vehicle. It remains the largest and most powerful rocket ever to fly successfully, and was used to send men to the moon during the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Paper Saturn V Rocket Model, Almost Free, Over 7 Feet Tall. I've been a paper modeler for over 20 years, and its high time I introduced this craft to a larger community. This is an old craft, dating back to almost the beginning of the printing press itself.

Dave built two N-1s, representing the 3L and 7L (all-white) rockets. Also present is a Saturn V, crawler and tower for comparison. Great workmanship. The N-1 seems to reach for the sky in this striking photo. Another nicely constructed model, enlarged to 1:96 scale.
