29 Ιαν 2019 · This is a new magazine style for the Axis/Trophy lines – basically anything that uses the plastic magazine base. Aside from the “Savage” logo molded in, the latch is a big upgrade. The newer style has a “divorced” latch that is pinned into the magazine bottom with a small coil spring in between.
For those of us that shoot the Savage Axis rifles this is a huge improvement over the standard plastic clipped magazine that we have been using for years.

This kit consists of one aluminum magazine catch to upgrade the capacity of your Savage Axis I or II with the included plastic stock. These are made from 6061 aluminum. Anodized to black for a nice and durable finish.
