Just need a: 1) Prefit Barrel 2) Barrel Nut Wrench 3) Action wrench or Barrel vise 4) Appropriate Go/NoGo gauges You can get quality prefit barrels from: 1) CBI (Jim at NSS) 2) McGowen 3) Shilen 4) and some others These barrels run +/- $300.
10 Φεβ 2021 · First, I purchased a proof research savage small shank prefit. Needless to say it was worth the money and from what I read other people are pretty happy with them too. I even got mine on sale which made it cheaper than purchasing a good steel barrel at a few of the recommended online prefit makers.
18 Μαΐ 2022 · With the barrel extension and swappable bolt head features, Savage has added the ability to make it even easier to change barrels and calibers. That's as soon as they have barrel extensions and bolt heads available for purchase.
21 Ιουν 2017 · So far they all 5 shoot very good, much better than a factory rifle. But the two ER Shaw barrels are both outstanding as you can see above. They say a barrel and best accuracy are seen after 200 or so shots...can't wait to see what these two riflesh will do then!
