He was ordained on June 18, 1986 and assigned to the Bishop Molloy Retreat House in Jamaica Queens, New York. He ministered in the retreat house for 8 years offering weekend retreats and evening programs to adults and midweek retreat days to students.
It offers short summaries of the Sunday, seasonal, and weekday readings as they occur in the calendar, short video homilies, and a 30-minute weekly panel discussion of the Sunday readings (4 panelists in an informal setting near Ambo in the Monastery Public Chapel.)
