Anyway, if the lots are full the street parking is usually pretty cheap, around a dollar an hour. There’s even some streets where you can park for free! So if you can’t find a SCAD spot, park on the street, but never in a parking garage - those are more expensive :)
You have to have a parking permit or you’ll get a ticket parking at scad lots, they might me leinient with it right when you move in if you aren’t able to pick up your decal immediately, but you can’t park anywhere on campus without it.
I'm trying to park my car at Liberty Street Garage over winter break and I'm having trouble finding info. I called and spoke to someone on the phone that said you pay in advance, monthly passes start the 9th of November, you come in and pay and then park.

A free parking lot is available near Loyola Soccer/Softball Park at the corner of W. Devon Ave. and N. Hoyne Ave. Street parking is also an option. CTA bus route #155 has a stop across at the corner of Devon and Hoyne Ave.
