2 Δεκ 2020 · If you have a 7 pin trailer connector, you could use a T adapter off the back of the plug behind the bumper to save cutting into any wiring. Then wiring in the topper brake light to the adapter.
21 Νοε 2023 · The 4 pin harness uses the green & yellow wires for both turn signals & brake lights. The brake light logic module receives & recognizes the signals from both turn signals & the brake lights, but only allows the brake light signals to pass through while it suppresses the turn signals.

You'd just simply remove the trailer connector and plug from the end of the harness and wire it directly to the module and light with a switch of your choosing in between like part # PK34212. The yellow wire could be used for the stop and the black for power.
So if you just wire it in the camper shell's brake light will also flash with the turn signals. To solve this issue we recommend using a vehicle to vehicle adapter, like the Curt # C56196, that connects to your truck's combined wiring and separates the brake and turn signal circuits.
