1 Μαΐ 2015 · The employer, not the employee, pays the insurance premium. The State Compensation Fund was established to help Arizona employers provide medical coverage, rehabilitation and supplemental income for workers injured on the job. The mission of the SCF was to provide a ready market for workers’ compensation insurance at the lowest possible cost.
16 Μαρ 2011 · Since 1991, the State Compensation Fund has operated as a quasi state agency that offers work comp coverage more or less on equal footing with private carriers. More recently, the “Fund” as it is often referred to, has become more or less a private mutual insurance company.
Workers’ Compensation is a “no-fault” system in which you receive medical and compensation benefits no matter who caused the job-related accident. Lawsuits against the employer, except under very limited circumstances, are not permitted.
