Gallery artist Ning Lee, is known for his strong brushwork and impasto paint, was born in Chongqing, a city in Southwest China. His artistic journey began at the School of Fine Arts at Southwest Normal University, where he received seven years of professional training focused on realism.
18 Μαρ 2024 · ABOUT THE ARTIST. Ning Lee received his art education in China and had a brief teaching career there. After he came to the United States in the 90s, he has become a professional artist and had his work shown in the US, as well as China and Canada.
I want my viewers to be able to perceive an image from a distance, be it a landscape, still life, or seascape, but as they move closer I want them to appreciate the abstract beauty of the large and spontaneous brush strokes and interesting textures.
