Plot. On the 15th anniversary week of the original Woodsboro murders, [a] high school students Jenny Randall and Marnie Cooper are murdered by Ghostface. Sidney Prescott returns to Woodsboro the following day to promote her self-help book with her publicist, Rebecca Walters.

Scream 4 (styled as SCRE4M or Scream IV) is a 2011 slasher film and the fourth installment in the Scream film series. It was directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Williamson, returning from the first two films, Scream (1996) and Scream 2 (1997).
The plot involves Sidney Prescott returning to Woodsboro after ten years as part of her book tour. As soon as she arrives, Ghostface once again begins killing students from Woodsboro High, including her younger cousin's friends.
Scream 4 breaks the mold of the franchise, delivering brutal kills and suspenseful scenes that keep the audience engaged throughout the entire runtime. The story is pretty weak, requiring quite a suspension of disbelief, as is the case with the majority of the Scream sequels.
