Catalina Sea Camp is an overnight summer camp located on Catalina Island, just a short boat ride from Orange and Los Angeles Counties. The camp offers a memorable summer experience for kids and teenagers aged 8 to 17, with a focus on marine biology, ocean adventure, and coastal exploration.
Whether sailing on a historic tall ship or exploring tide pools in a marine protected area, our camps encourage life-long learning for your camper! Ocean Institute’s summer camps are designed for 5 to 17-year-olds and run Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. Camp sessions are available from June 16th – August 15th, 2025.

Experience SeaWorld up-close and behind-the-scenes and learn how we care for dolphins, penguins, sharks, and more. Explore San Diego's beaches when you surf and snorkel. You'll meet some of the amazing animals in our care, and make some new friends who love animals as much as you do.
