See who's active on Messenger# People who have a by their name or photo are active or have been recently active on Messenger or Facebook. When your Active Status is turned on, you'll appear as active, recently active and currently in the same chat as others.

If you return to the Chats tab, you can see a list of recent friends. If they are not active on Messenger, you'll see Active (minutes/hours) ago.
