23 Μαρ 2019 · Mod Engine is a an injection DLL library that makes modding Sekiro game files super easy and safe. Gone are the days of having to use UXM and extract gigabytes worth of game files to play a mod. Mod Engine supports any mod that relies on file edits including cosmetic, texture, parameter, and map mods.
Every mod for Sekiro at nexusmods has the instructions for installation. Every mod requires Sekiro mod engine, which contains detailed installation instructions for both itself and all the other mods, which are very easy.
It depends on your use case. If you're planning to install a long mod list and/or switch out mods regularly, you could use the Sekiro mod manager. It's also possible that once you've manually installed the mod engine, installing regular mods through Vortex will work just fine.
The engine itself is valid, I played it twenty minutes ago. It is also compatible with Vortex, all you need is to select the folder location literally titled "Sekiro" if you set it manually. I highly recommend it as it automatically sets up files and notifies you of problems or outdated mods.

31 Μαρ 2020 · The first time you activate support for Sekiro, Vortex will inform you of an external requirement: the Sekiro Mod Engine. Simply click on the button that says "Got to Mod Engine Page" to download the tool on its Nexus Mods mod page.
